Lisa's Chocolate Cake

Introduction

Old-fashioned recipe, using unsweetened cocoa powder for a real chocolatey flavor. Old-fashioned recipe, using unsweetened cocoa powder for a real chocolatey flavor.
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    2 c. sugar
    1 3/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. cocoa powder (unsweetened)
    1 1/2 t. baking powder
    1 1/2 t. baking soda
    1 t. salt
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. oil
    1 c. milk
    2 t. vanilla

Directions

1) Mix all ingredients together.

2) Add 1 cup boiling water.

3) Pour into 9 x 12 pan (sprayed with cooking spray). Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees.

(Frost, if desired, but that's not included in calorie count.)

Serving Size: Makes 16 pieces.
