Introduction

This is an old family recipe but just as good on special occasions. This is an old family recipe but just as good on special occasions.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2-3 lbs. of Granny Smith Apples
    2 cups of Self-Rising Flour
    3/4 Stick of Butter (cut into pats)
    2 Eggs
    1 cup Whole Milk
    1-1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
    2 tbs. Ground Cinnamon
    1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

Directions

Preheat over to 325 degrees. Peel and slice apples. Place apples on bottom of greased 9x13 oven-safe glass dish. Sprinkle with 2 tbs of cinnamon and 3 tbs. of sugar over all the apples.

Mix batter with remaining ingredients and pour over apples. Bake 50 minutes or until done. Check with toothpick after 40 minutes.
