Rhubarb Strawberry Pie

    5 c. Rhubarb cut in 1/2 inch pieces
    4 c. Strawberries Sliced
    1 1/4 c. Splenda
    4-5 T. Cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    Jiffy pie crust mix


In a large mixing bowl stir together sugar, cornstarch and ground nutmeg. add rhubarb and strawberriesm toss gently to coat fruit. Let stand for 15 minutes. Meanwhile prepare and roll our pastry. I made one half bigger for a 10 " shell and used the rest for a lattice top. Line pie plate and pour in fruit. Dot with butter if you want, I didn't. Lay strips of crust in lattice form on top and place in a 350 degree oven for 1-1/4hours until bubbly and fruit looks done.
