Introduction

Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1 pound dry northern beans
    1.14 pound Hormel Ham Steak
    12 c. water
    1 large onion
    5 carrots
    6 garlic cloves
    3 potatoes
    5 stalks celery
    1 cup fresh parsley
    hot chili peppers to taste
    pepper to taste
    1 tbsp olive oil

Directions

Soak beans in water appx 6-8 hours; drain
Cook beans slowly w/garlic and onion in 6 cups water until soft add remaining ingredients and cook until desired consistency.

Makes 16 1 cup servings
