Directions

Fry ground beef and drain excess fat.
Cook elbow noodles until tender.
Clean and chop celery into small bits and cook (I just pop them in a microwave safe container and put saran wrap over top to steam)
Open two cans of stewed tomatoes and mash into smaller chunks.
Open small can of tomato sauce.

Combine all ingredients into a 5-quart pan and let simmer for about 10 minutes. Add celery and onion salts to taste. Also some ground black pepper and sea salt to taste is great!

Enjoy! (For the record, I always think this tastes 100x better after it is cooled and reheated!)

Serving Size: Makes about 10 1-cup servings

  • Quick and good. I used half cup of salsa instead of stewed tomatoes and a 14.5 oz can of tomato sauce. I agree it is even better the next day. - 9/2/11
