Turkey Mushroom Burgers

Introduction

I thawed a pound of ground turkey and couldn't decide what to do with it. This is what I came up with. I served it with a fresh onion cibatta roll spread with olive oil mayo and layered with fresh tomatoes. It was yummy!! (Roll, mayo and tomatoes not counted in calorie total.) Ingredients

    1 lb. ground turkey 93/7
    1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
    2 cups chopped mushrooms
    1 t. dry basil
    1 clove garlic, grated or crushed
    1/4 t. black pepper
    1/4 t. salt

Directions

Chop mushrooms, add seasoning, and mix with ground turkey. Divide into four burgers. Spray a frying pan with pam-style oil spray. Cook burger, approx. 10 minutes per side.

Serving Size: Makes four large burgers.
