Princess Oatmeal

Introduction

This is my favorite way to eat oatmeal. I just freeze it in small batches, re-heat for 1 minute and pour Soy Milk over the top. Stir and imbibe! This is my favorite way to eat oatmeal. I just freeze it in small batches, re-heat for 1 minute and pour Soy Milk over the top. Stir and imbibe!

Ingredients

    19.5 oz rolled whole oatmeal (aprox 5 cups)
    3 oz hazelnuts (aprox 1/2 cup)
    3/4 t kosher salt
    7 cups water

Directions

Heat water in large saucepan to a boil. Add salt. while water is heating, chop and toast hazelnuts in a skillet. Add hazelnuts to water, sprinkle in the oats stirring constantly - turn down the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes or cover, shut off heat for 20 minutes and let it cook without stirring or opening lid
