Stove Top Chicken & Rice

Introduction

A very easy recipe made in a skillet. A very easy recipe made in a skillet.
Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    2 chicken breast (boiled and cut into bite size
    pieces)
    1 cup sliced mushrooms
    2 cups brown rice
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    salt (to taste)
    pepper (to taste)
    Oregano (dash)
    basil (dash)
    parsley (2 dashes)
    garlic powder (to taste)
    1/2 cup water
    1 tbsp. olive oil

Directions

Cook rice as directed. Put oil in skillet, add chicken and mushrooms slices. Cook for approx 10 minutes. Then add the soups, water, and seasonings. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 15 or 20 minutes. Add the cooked brown rice. Top with mozzarella cheese. Cover until cheese melts. Then serve. Makes 5 servings
