1 15.5-oz can Low-sodium garbanzo beans, drained
1/2 Fresh lemon, squeezed
2 tbsp Plain, fat-free yogurt
3-5 cloves Fresh garlic, peeled
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 cup Water
1 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
1 tbsp Extra-light olive oil
To reduce fat content- leave out olive oil and replace with the garbanzo bean liquid.
To reduce sodium content- leave out salt and rinse garbanzo beans thoroughly before blending.
Serving Size: makes 16 2-tbsp servings
