Introduction

Ingredients

    2 libs lean stew meat cubed
    14.5 oz can no salt added tomatotoes, liquid included
    10 oz. no salt added beef broth
    2 tsp. garlic poweder
    1 tsp., marjoram
    1/4 tsp ground peopper
    1/2 cup dry-red dealcoholized wine (or regular if preferred)
    2 cups peeled potatoes, cubed
    1 cup chopped celery
    4 medium carrots, sliced
    3 mall ionions, sliced
    1 cup green beans
    2 TBS flour mixed int a slurry with equal amounts of water

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 325.
2. Preheat heavy pan and brown beef cubes on all sides. Transfer to dutch oven along wiht tomoatoes, broth and wine.
3. Season wiht garlice powder, marjoram and pepper. Bring to boil stirring frequently.
4. Add potatoes, celery, carrots and onions and season t taste with greshly ground pepper.
5. Mix well, cover and bake, stirring occasionally.
6. After 1 hour, stir in green beans, replace cover an dcontineu baking for an additional hour or until meat is tender.
7. Just before servbine stir flour mixture and heat on stove, stirring sauce until thickens.
