12 oz Sirloin Wheat flour 2 cups Quaker Quick Barley 10 oz bag frozen Soup Veg's 1 cup Cabernet 3 cups Beef Broth Water as needed Beef Stew Seasoning packet (McCormick's)
Cut beef into small pieces and coat with wheat flour, salt and pepper. Brown in olive oil in dutch oven. Remove from pan when browned. Deglaze pan with cabernet. Return beef to dutch oven, add beef broth, seasoning packet, barley, vegetables and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for an hour. Makes 15 servings.
