IntroductionI'm sure this would be great with fresh ingredients but I created it with what I had on hand. Yum! I'm sure this would be great with fresh ingredients but I created it with what I had on hand. Yum!
375g whole wheat spaghetti (or about 4 cups cooked)
1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/3 cup parmesan cheese
2. Saute garlic in olive oil for 1 minute.
3. Add remaining ingredients except parmesan cheese.
4. Turn heat to low and simmer, covered for 10 minutes.
5. Toss sauce with spaghetti and parmesan cheese and serve.
