1/2 cup pinto beans, cooked
1/2 cup long grained brown rice, cooked
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
Fresh ground black pepper
1/2 tsp dried sweet basil, crushed
1 to 2 tsp white wine vinegar
1 tsp turmeric
Note: I don't bother draining the beans as they are home made and have no salt added and the fluid cooks off.
Add the garlic powder, pepper and basil. When heated through add in the white wine vinegar and turmeric, stir to combine and serve.
Note: Add in more or less vinegar to taste.
Serving Size: 1 cup equals 1 serving
