Whole wheat pancakes

Introduction

For those that can eat simple carbs, subsitute the wheat flour for all purpose white flour For those that can eat simple carbs, subsitute the wheat flour for all purpose white flour
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Whole Wheat Flour, 1 cup
    Egg, fresh, 1 large
    Canola Oil, 2 tbsp
    Baking Powder, 2.5 tsp
    Salt, 1 dash
    Granulated Sugar, 2 Tbsp
    Water, 3/4 Cup



Directions

Sift the flour into a large mixing bowl,
add all remaining ingrediants into the same bowl,
beat on high until smooth
Cook in a frying pan, lightly coating the pan with spray canola oil between each pancake.
Cook on first side until a few bubbles appear, flip over and cook for a further one minute or so.

I serve these with 1/4 cup mixed fruit.

Serving Size: makes 6 saucer sized pancakes
