Peanut Butter Protein Bars

Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1/2 c 1% milk
    1 c smooth peanut butter
    1 tbsp honey
    1 1/2 cup whey protein powder
    2 c dry, uncooked old fashioned oats
    3 tbsp semi-sweet chocolate chips
    3 tbsp chopped nuts

Directions

Combine peanut butter, honey, and milk in a large pot, warm over low heat.
Add protein powder, mix well.
Add oats, keeping the mixture warm so it's easy to stir (don't cook).
Add more milk if it's too thik.
Stir in chocolate chips chips and nuts.
Line a 9x13 pan with plastic wrap. Press mixture into the pan. Cool.
When cool, turn out and remove plastic.
Cut into 16 bars.
Wrap each individually in plastic wrap or snack size baggies.
Refrigerate.
