Green Smoothie with apple and banana

Introduction

Great taste and texture. These should be consumed the same day if possible for best nutritional value. If not, they can also be frozen for up to 6 months. Great taste and texture. These should be consumed the same day if possible for best nutritional value. If not, they can also be frozen for up to 6 months.
Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    4 c baby spinach
    1 head romaine lettuce
    1/2 c cucumber, peeled
    1 T dark agave syrup
    20 oz water, filtered
    1 T lemon juice
    1 t diced ginger
    1 medium banana, ripe
    1 medium apple, skin on and cut into large chunks

Directions

1.In blender, add water, spinach, romaine, cucumber, lemon juice, agave syrup and ginger. Blend for 30 seconds to 1 minute, until smooth and creamy.
2. Add banana and cored apple. Blend for another 30 seconds to 1 minute, until smooth and creamy.
3. Enjoy!

Serving Size: Make 5 eight ounce servings
