Vegetarian Broccoli Salad

Ingredients

1 package (two “trees”) broccoli, diced small
½ cup raisins
¼ cup chopped onion
½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
½ cup mayonnaise
2 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp vinegar (cider or I use plain white)
Directions
Put first four ingredients into medium bowl.
In small bowl combine last three ingredients together.
Mix thoroughly and chill, preferably overnight, but a few hours would do.
Serving Size: 1/2 cup per serving

Delicious, my version includes a package of broccoli slaw, flowerettes, raisins, craisins, pinenuts or sunflower seeds.
My dressing is 1/2 c. mayo, 3 T. sugar and 1 T. vinegar. - 6/5/11

I should think craisins would be lovely in this salad. I only use 2 T of sugar because I think more makes it too sweet.
