Introduction

I like to make southern style greens and mix different kinds like collard with turnip and mustard. I love the smokiness from a ham hock but have have lightened it up with a smoked turkey leg instead still has that great taste I like to make southern style greens and mix different kinds like collard with turnip and mustard. Number of Servings: 18

Ingredients

    *Mustard greens, fresh, 5 cup, chopped (remove)
    Turnip Greens, 5 cup, chopped (remove)
    Collards, 5 cup, chopped (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Turkey drumstick (leg), smoked, 12 oz with bone, cooked (yield after b (remove)
    Cider Vinegar, 1 cup (remove)
    Brown Sugar, .25 cup, packed (remove)
    Garlic, .25 cup (remove)

Directions

place turkey leg in pot of water with everything but the greens. bring to a boil for about in hour. add the the greens and cook for a couple of hours
