Spinach Smoothie

Introduction

Kids love this one, too Kids love this one, too
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    In a blender add:

    ~3/4 cup of low-fat plain yogurt
    ~2 cups of fresh spinach
    ~1 small banana (I prefer frozen chunks)
    ~1 small container of unsweetened apple sauce OR 1 cup of apple juice
    ~1/2 scoop of whey protien powder (optional)
    ~3-4 ice cubes
    Blend until smooth and light green in colour...& enjoy

Directions

Put all ingredients, including a few ice cubes, into blender and blend until all spinach is chopped & drink is smooth,not chunky. I freeze my bananas, too, so it is more like a shake consistency...I like it cold and refreshing....yummm....KIDS LOVE IT TOO!

Serving Size: I drink this as my breakfast, but it makes a large drink...could easliy be shared by 2 or 3 people
