Lightly beat egg whites and milk. Add onion, dill weed, and pepper. Flake salmon and remove bones. Add flaked salmon to the egg mixture. Add cracker crumbs. Mix together and form into 6 patties. Saute in tbsp of canola oil for about 5 minutes per side or until golden brown. Serve plain or with your favorite seafood sauce. Serves 6.
I made this and I fell in love. The taste was just like the ones I'm used to making but this recipe is lower in calories...I think next time I will use basil instead to see what kind of taste I get.
I made this with wheat crackers and fried in a grilling pan. Loved the choice of seasonings in this recipe, much healthier than my "old" recipe for salmon patties. Definitely a keeper and will make this again and again! Thank you DAWNKK for sending this in for others to try. :o)
