Crumb Coated Chicken Thighs
Submitted by: SASSYMOMMYIntroduction
From www.allrecipes.com The recipe calls for 8 thighs, bone and skin removed, but I made this with the bone and skin. It also calls for 2 teaspons of curry powder, but I left that out. The data base did not have nutritional info on ground cumin, so I added it and left the nutritional info blank - don't know what the nutritional info is, but I'm sure it's small! Ingredients
-
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. ground cumin
2 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
6 chicken thighs
Directions
In a large re-sealable bag, comine and mix all ingredients EXCEPT FOR THE CHICKEN. Once spices are all mixed, add the chicken, a few at a time, and shake to coat.
Place on a baking sheet coated with nonstick cooking spray.
Bake, uncovered, at 400 for 20 minutes. Turn chicken pieces and bake for 15-20 more minutes or until meat thermometer reads 180 degrees.
Makes 6 chicken breasts. I made this recipe with Sunshine Rice, found in the SP database.
