Tomato Basil Baguette Snacks

Introduction

These are small, delicious, and you can even use the cheese and tomatoes to make a yummy spinach salad instead! These are small, delicious, and you can even use the cheese and tomatoes to make a yummy spinach salad instead!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 oz. Casero part skim mozzarella cheese
    1 oz whole wheat baguette (or 4 thin slices)
    4 slices of a roma tomato
    a pinch of basil

Directions

Slice the baguette into 4 thin slices. Slice the 1 oz of mozzarella into 4 slices. Place the cheese on the baguette and top with a slice of tomato. Add a dash of basil. Cook at 350 degrees for 5-10 minutes or until mozzarella is nicely melted.

Serving Size: Makes 4 pieces, serves 1
