Introduction

This soup recipe makes a huge pot of soup...but we eat a bowl whenever hungry and it curbs our appetites! Sounds like a lot but it goes fast. The best part is its so low in calories, you can have two bowls. Enjoy. This soup recipe makes a huge pot of soup...but we eat a bowl whenever hungry and it curbs our appetites! Number of Servings: 32

Ingredients

    2 cups diced diakon(about one small piece)
    6 scallions, chopped
    1 793gm can crushed tomatoes
    1 large head cabbage, big chunks
    3 cups (2 pepperes) green peppers, diced
    1 whole bunch celery, diced
    1 envelope of Lipton's Onion Soup Mix
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    2 tsp. curry powder
    3 TBS. parsley, dried

Directions

Cut up all the veggies.
Place in 'lobster' pot.
Add tomatoes and soup mix.
Cover with water to handles.
Boil for about 15 minutes. Then simmer until veggies are tender.
Good hot or cold.

Serving Size: Makes 32 2cup bowls.
