Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    *Beef, ground, 80% lean meat / 20% fat, crumbles, cooked, pan-browned (hamburger, ground chuck), 16 oz (remove)
    *Beans, black [canned No-name]1can =2.16c=540ml, 2.16 cup (remove)
    *Chedder Cheese Fat free Kraft, .5 cup (remove)
    *Great Value Fat Free Sour Cream, 8 tbsp (remove)
    *Best Choice Whole Wheat Tortillas (one tortilla), 4
    1 pkg taco bell taco seasoning
    1 tsp cumin
    1 tbsp chili powder
    1 tsp red pepper flakes
    1 tsp cornstarch (if meat mixture is too runny)
    3/4 cup water
    cooking spray

Directions

brown meat and drain. add beans without draining. add packet of taco seasoning and 3/4 cup water, and additional spices if desired. If too runny add cornstarch. simmer 5 minutes. While these are simmering spray a cookie sheet with non stick spray. Cut tortillas into 8ths (I stack them and cut with a pizza slicer). place on cookie sheet and spray with more cooking spray. Bake at 350 for about 5-10 minutes, or until crispy. arrange 8 chips on plate, top with a quarter of meat mixture, 1/4 of the cheese, and 1/4 of the sour cream. servings can be cut to save calories, and lettuce and tomato can be used int his salad as well to beef up the volume.

Serving Size: nutritional info is figred for 4, but this may make up to 8 smaller servings if desired.
