IntroductionThis recipe came from Kroger store in a booklet they sent to me. This recipe came from Kroger store in a booklet they sent to me.
1 1/2 cups water
3/4 cup whole-grain quinoa, rinsed and drained
1/4 tsp. sea salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins
1/3 cup pecans, chopped
Milk, cream, honey or pure maple syrup, for serving
You can substitue dried, chopped apricots, dates or plums for the raisins and walnuts or almonds for the pecans. Or, add a pinch of nutmeg to spice things up.
Serving Size: 2-4 servings, 1/2 cup
