1 lb. sirloin steak, cut into cubes 1 c. chopped onion 2 diced jalapenos 1 can diced tomatoes 2 ribs chopped celery 1 can diced green chili 1 can beef broth
Brown the meat in a deep skillet, then add onion, celery and chilis; cook until onions are translucent. Add broth and tomatoes, reduce heat to low, and cook about 3 hours until meat is fork-tender. Serve over rice or with tortillas. Makes about 8 servings.
This was very good and simple. Not to spicy, but that would depend on how hot your peppers are, and tasted great. You could add some spices and coat meat with a little flour, but that would add calories.
