Introduction

Ingredients

    1.5 cup Rogers 100% Natural Wheat Bran
    1 cup Milk, nonfat
    1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
    3 Tbsp Olive Oil
    1 egg
    Apple sauce unsweetened, Compliments .33 cup
    .33 cup Brown Sugar, packed
    .33 cup Turbinado Sugar
    .5 tsp vanilla flavoring
    1 cup granola
    1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
    1 tsp. Baking Soda
    1 tsp. Baking Powder
    .5 tsp Salt
    .5 cup Dates, pitted, chopped
    .25 cup Apricots, dried, chopped
    .25 cup Walnuts, chopped
    2 TBSP sesame seeds

Directions

Mix together Rogers Wheat Bran and buttermilk ( milk and lemon juice which should stand for about 5 to 10 minutes first by itself), let stand. Combine olive oil, egg, sugars and vanilla and add to buttermilk bran mix. Add granola.Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add the chopped fruit and walnuts. Add to first mixture and stir until just blended. Sit for 10 minutes. Spoon into prepared muffin tins. I use the paper inserts. Sprinke with seame and poppy seeds. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes. Voila
