Introduction

I took elements from a few ice cream/frozen yogurt recipes and made them into my own. I took elements from a few ice cream/frozen yogurt recipes and made them into my own.
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    For the peaches:
    2 pounds—peeled, pitted and coarsely chopped - reserve nectar in cup to the side
    7 tablespoons sugar
    1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
    1 pinch salt

    For the yogurt
    4 cups Fage 2%
    2/3 cup pure maple syrup
    1 T. vanilla extract
    1.5 tsp. ground cinnamon

Directions

In a medium saucepan, combine the peaches, 7 tablespoons sugar, the lemon juice and salt. Cook over medium heat, mashing, until jam like, about 15 minutes. Let cool.

Mix (whisk) the Fage, maple syrup, vanilla extract, peach nectar and cinnamon together. Place in ice cream machine and process according to manufacturer instructions.

In last 2 minutes of mixing, add in the peaches you made earlier
