Stuffed Turnips

Ingredients

    * Turnips, 2 large
    * Wild Rice, 0.5 cup
    * Red Ripe Tomatoes, 1 medium whole (2-3/5" dia)
    * Chicken Breast, no skin, 0.5 breast, bone and skin removed
    * 1 medium carrot, grated
    * Sour Cream, 1 tbsp
    * Olive oil, 1 tsp
    * Seasoning

Directions

make "wholes" in the turnips so that you can fill them. what you take out of the turnips, cut them finely and in a pan wt heated olive oil add 1/4 of the turnips, the tomatoes, the chicken breast cut into small pieces, the wild rice, the carrot and some seasoning. when half done fill the turnips, the rest of the turnips, carrots and tomatoes are to be added in the pan and put them in a pan in the oven for 45 min. add the sour cream when done and keep them in the oven for 3 more minutes. makes 2 servings
