Ingredients

    Chickpeas (garbanzo beans), 1.5 cup
    *Tahini, 2.5 tbsp
    *Lemon Juice, 1 lemon yields
    *Cumin seed, 1 tsp
    Garlic, 2 cloves
    Water, tap, .25 cup (8 fl oz)

Directions

add all ingredients except water (i reserve and use the liquid from the canned chickpeas) to a food processor. mince garlic before adding. pulse and add water or bean liquid until desired consistency is reached.
