Green Chili Taco Pockets

Introduction

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    ! pound Ground White Turkey Meat
    2 cans Reduced Fat crescent rolls
    1 cup Reduced fat Monterrey Jack Cheese, shredded
    1 can Chopped Green Chilis
    1 Chopped onion
    Fresh Cilantro (optional garnish)
    Prepared salsa or pico de gallo (optional garnish)
    reduced fat sour cream (optional garnish)

Directions

Spray a pan with cooking spray. Brown white turkey meat.
Once meat is browned, remove from pan and add chopped onions to same pan. Cook onions until they are translucent. Add onions to cooked turkey meat and mix together.
Separate the crescent triangles into individual triangles. place about 1 tablespoon of turkey and onion mix to each crescent triangle. Add 1 teaspoon on green chilis to each triangle, followed by a pinch of cheese. Open the other can of crescents and separate each triangle. Close each pocket by placing a crescent triangle on top of the filled triangles. Seal the pockets with a fork on the edges. Bake the pockets at 350 until golden brown. Garnish with chopped cilantro, pico de gallo/salsa, light sour cream. Enjoy!
