This is a great recipe for some amazing peanut butter no bakes. My cousins and I used to fight over these as kids. This is a great recipe for some amazing peanut butter no bakes. My cousins and I used to fight over these as kids.Number of Servings: 20
Ingredients
-
2 C. Sugar
1/2 C. Milk
1/4 C. Cocoa or 1 C. Chocolate Chips
1/2 C. Butter
1/2 C. Peanut Butter (smooth style)
3 C. Quick Oats
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/8 tsp. Salt
Directions
In a medium size pot boil sugar, milk, cocoa/chips and butter for 1 minute. Stir occasionally.
Once that mixture has boiled for 1 minute add in oats, peanut butter, vanilla and salt.
Mix very well.
Drop mixture by teaspoon on wax paper. Let set for roughly 2+ hours. If you live in a very humid climate these will not turn out well. They need fresh air to set right. I prefer to let mine set then stick them in the fridge. Makes the taste pop more.
You can change the recipe by adding splenda instead and using healthier peanut butter. I used organic peanut butter in mine and you can't tell the difference.
The nutrition information is based off regular ingredients and cocoa not chocolate chips.
Serving Size: makes 20 2 cookie servings
