Whole Wheat Waffles

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 Cup - Whole Wheat Flour
    1 Cup - All Purpose Flour
    1 Tbl - Packed Brown Sugar
    4 tsp - Baking Powder
    1/2 tsp - Salt

    1 3/4 Cups of Skim Milk
    2 eggs
    1/4 of Melted Butter (Other Oil may be used)

Directions

Put first 5 dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Melt butter in microwave and stir all wet ingredients together.
Slowly stir the dry ingredients into the wet.
Let stand for 5 minutes until baking powder start to rise.
Then put 3/4 cup on an 8 inch waffle iron and cook for 4 to 5 minutes depending on you iron.

Serving Size: Makes 6 8-inch waffles
