12 oz. Ronzoni Garden Delight Penne Rigate
32 oz Part Skim Ricotta Cheese
1.5 bottle Bertole Arrabiata Spicy Tomato & Red Pepper Sauce
1 lb hot italian sausage
8 oz shredded italian cheese blend (mozzarella, cheddar, provolone, asiago)
remove casing from sausage and brown over medium heat, breaking the sausage up into crumbled pieces as it cooks. Drain fat and set aside.
add all ricotta and 1/2 shredded cheese to cooked penne and mix well
pour 1/2 sauce into 9x11 non-stick pan and spread evenly.
add crumbled sausage to pan in layer over sauce
add pasta/cheese mixture over previous two layers
pour 1/2 sauce evenly over top of pasta/cheese mixture
sprinkle 1/2 shredded cheese over top layer of sauce
Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Serving Size: 9 x 11 pan portioned into 12 servings.
