Ingredients

Beef Round Steak, 6 oz., all visible fat removed; Cut into 3/4 in cubes
Iceberg Lettuce, 2 cups shredded fine
Celery, Raw, 1/2 cup Chopped
Onion, 1 large, Raw, Coarsely chopped
Canola OIl, 1 tablespoon
Directions
Immediately before serving, shred lettuce and arrange in two shallow bowls. Add oil to a hot skillet and stir fry the onion and celery until almost transparent. Add the cubed beef and stir fry slightly. Meat should be rare. Add salt and fresh-ground black pepper to taste.
To serve, divide mixture in half over the two bowls of lettuce. Serve immediately before the lettuce wilts.
Serving Size: Makes main dish salad for two.
