Ingredients

    1/2 large onion
    2 medium carrots
    2 tsp Wyler's Chicken Granules
Dash of salt for the top of the chicken
    1 tsp black pepper, divided
3 cups Great Value Frozen Broccoli Florets
1 Whole Perdue Tender and Tasty Chicken - approx 3 lbs
    2 cups water
    1 tsp cornstarch

Directions

Cut the onion in large pieces and add to the crockpot
Place 2 medium carrots (trimmed) to the crockpot

Mix the Chicken Granules with 2 cups of hot water and add to the crock pot.

Place the whole chicken on top of the vegetables and sprinkle the top with a dash of salt and 1/2 tsp of the black pepper.

Cook on high for approximately 3 hours.

Remove chicken and vegetables from the crockpot. Careful! The chicken will be falling off the bone. Remove skin and discard.

Take the meat from both breasts, breaking them into bite-sized chunks and set aside for the noodles. Use remaining meat in another recipe. Remove remaining broth to a medium pot reserving 3 Tbsp in a small bowl.

On the stove, bring the pot of chicken broth and 1/2 tsp of black pepper to a rolling boil. Add the frozen noodles and cook uncovered for 10 minutes, add the frozen broccoli and continue to cook for another 10 minutes or until the broccoli and noodles are tender.

Mix 1 tsp cornstarch with the reserved chicken broth and stir into the pot. The broth will thicken up nicely. Add the chicken chunks and stir to incorporate.

Enjoy!
