Introduction

Ingredients

    1/2 cup fleischmann's unsalted margarine
    1/2 cup Promise Fat Free buttery spread
    1/4 cup Splenda brown sugar blend
    2 tsp vanilla (optional)
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    2 1/4 tsp baking powder
    2 cup King arthur sifted unbleached flour
    1/2 cup organic wheat germ
    1/3 cup Sun Maid chopped golden raisins
    1/3 cup Nestle mini morsels
    1/4 cup chopped walnut halves
    3.5 cups rolled oats

Directions

Soften margarine and promise spread, mix well with brown sugar substitute. Add eggs and vanilla (or substitute water).
Sift dry ingredients and add, blend into butter egg mix.
Mix in oats with chopped raisins, chocolate mini morsels and chopped walnuts.
Form logs, 8-10 inches long, 1-2 inches in diameter.
Wrap with wax paper and refrigerate 12 hours or longer.

Remove from fridge, cut 1/4 inch slices and place on parchment paper cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 F for 18-25 minutes or until golden brown on both sides.
When done, cookie will be crunchy!

Makes appx 6-7 dozen cookies.
