Accidental Sloppy Joes

Introduction

Tried to make burgers but they fell apart! :( Decided not to fight it and threw in tomato soup and paste, and ... YUM! Tried to make burgers but they fell apart! :( Decided not to fight it and threw in tomato soup and paste, and ... YUM!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground beef
    1 small onion
    1 med carrot
    4 medium mushrooms
    2 tsp dijon mustard
    1 tbsp HP or steak sauce

    1 can condensed tomato soup
    1 can tomato paste

    4 whole wheat buns

Directions

Mince the onion and mushrooms (I used my Tupperware mini-chopper, super fast! :D ), grate the carrot. Add to bowl with ground beef, mustard and HP sauce. Mix together.

Brown on med-high heat till cooked through. Add both soup and tomato paste, stir to heat through, adding water to thin sauce a little if need be.

Dish up on buns and get sloppy!
