French Bread

Ingredients

    1 1/4 cup Water, 2 teaspoons sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 3 1/2 cups bread flour,1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 small package yeast in the bread machine. Set the bread machine for dough setting let it do its thing. Spray cookie sheet vegetable oil spray, then sprinlke 1 tablespoon cornmeal in the cookie sheet.
    GLACE
    1 egg white
    1 tablespoon water
    Sprinlke 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
    You might need to add 1 or 2 tablespoons of water in the bread machine after 5 minute mixing.

Directions

My bread machine takes hour and half to do the mixing. When the machine is done pour the dough on lightly foured surface. Divide the dough in two. Roll out in 10 in. x 8 in. rectangle. Roll the dough up long side pinch the seam to seal it. Put on the prepared cookie sheet. Cover the dough up with cloth and let raise for 20 minutes. Preheat the oven 375 degrees. With egg white and water wash brush on the loaves. With sharp knife, make shallow cuts on both loaves. Sprinlke 1 tablespoon sesame seeds on each loaf.
Bake the loaves of bread for 20 or 25 minutes.

Serving Size: This recipe makes two loaves bread slice 21 slices per loave
