Whole Wheat Pancakes with Walnuts

Introduction

Basic pancake recipe but with all whole wheat flour and added walnuts, chopped super small in the food processor so my toddler won't notice them. Basic pancake recipe but with all whole wheat flour and added walnuts, chopped super small in the food processor so my toddler won't notice them.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1.5 cups whole wheat flour
    1 tsp salt
    1 tbs sugar
    1 tbs baking powder
    1 egg
    3 tbs melted butter
    1.5 cups milk
    1/2 cup walnuts

Directions

Mix the ingredients, preheat nonstick skillet sprayed with pam over medium to medium low heat (will need to respray between batches). You can either make pan-sized pancakes or smaller, dollar sized ones (I can fit three in a 12" skillet). When they set and begin to bubble, flip them over and cook the other side.

Serving Size: makes 4-5 large pancakes or 12-16 dollar sized
