Homemade Ice Cream, no ice cream maker needed

Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 pint fat free half and half
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 tsp vanilla extract (or could use 1/4 cup diced strawberries or 2 tbsp chocolate syrup)

    ice and rock salt
    1lb coffee can or gallon size ziplock bag
    3 lb coffee can
    duct tape

Directions

Mix half and half, sugar, and flavoring (vanilla, chocolate, etc) and pour into a ziplock bag or clean 1 lb coffee can.

Put this into a larger coffee can and pack with ice and rock salt around. Duct tape lid on.

Roll back and forth or shake for 8-10 minutes until frozen inside.

Kids love this! Was a big hit at a girl scout party:)
