Millet & Raisin Breakfast

Introduction

A good substitute for a hot oatmeal breakfast using millet.
I like to top with some brown sugar or maple syrup and hazelnut milk.

I like to top with some brown sugar or maple syrup and hazelnut milk.

Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1/2 cup millet, uncooked
    1 1/2 cup water
    1/4 cup raisins

Directions

Rinse millet in strainer.
Mix millet and water in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 20 min.
Sprinkle raisins over top of cooking millet, replace lid and cook another 10 min.

Fluff and mix raisins through.
Makes two servings.
If desired, top with 1 TB brown sugar & 1/4 cup milk.

Serving Size: Makes two 1cup servings
