Breakfast Smoothie

Introduction

A nice tasty smoothie to have with/as breakfast. A nice tasty smoothie to have with/as breakfast.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1/2 cup Milk, 1%
    1/2 cup Frozen Mixed Berries
    1/2 tbsp Cinnamon
    1 tbsp Flax Seed

Directions

1) In a blender, pour in Flax Seeds. If they are not already crushed/ground, then blend until they are broken up nicely.
2) Add Frozen Berries, Cinnamon, and Milk (milk last so it doesn't splash) to Blender.
3) Optional added fruit. I have really enjoied this with banana or watermelon chunks blended in as well. If you do this, remember to add these to your breakfast in SparkPeople Nutrition Tracker, because they are not in this recipe.
4) Blend until well incorporated and thick.

Serving Size: Makes 1 serving of 16oz.
