Nanay's Craver Special - Pepperoni Pizza

Introduction

Sometimes nothing else will do if you're a pizza lover like me! My problem is portion control! If I have a whole pie before me, I am likely to eat half of it! Not good. This recipe gives you the great taste of the pizza you crave with less fat and 150 calories less than a slice of a large pan pizza from a commercial chain. 1 serving of this along with your favorite veggie will definitely keep you under 400 calories and is a satisfying meal. Ingredients

    1 Nature's Own Whole Wheat Thin Sliced Bagel
    1/4 cup Great Value Pizza Sauce
    17 Hormel Turkey Pepperoni Slices
    1/3 Cup Albertson's Low-Moisture Part Skim Mozzarella Shreds
    1 tsp olive oil

Directions

Preheat oven to 400. On a large cookie sheet, place bagel halves with the cut side up. Using a pastry brush, spread 1/2 tsp of olive oil on each bagel half.

Spread half of the pizza sauce on each bagel half and put pepperonis on top of the sauce. Place equal amounts of cheese on each half.

Bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted and golden brown.

Enjoy with you favorite veggie! For me it was sauteed asparagus.
