Microwave Spiced Peaches or Pears

Introduction

Great snack or desert. A light & satisfying meal if 1 cup yogurt of 1/2 Cup cottage cheese is added. Can be used as delicious pie fill and quickly baked in a frozen crust. Great snack or desert. A light & satisfying meal if 1 cup yogurt of 1/2 Cup cottage cheese is added. Can be used as delicious pie fill and quickly baked in a frozen crust.

Ingredients

    6 large fresh peaches or Bosc Pears
    1/2 C honey
    1 Tsp. sugar & cinnamon mix.
    1 lemon
    1.5-2 C Water.(Enough to just cover fruit)

Directions

2 qt covered microwavable dish

1. Remove stone or seeds from fruit . Cut into large pieces
2. Arrange fruit in dish.
3 Add Juice from 1 lemon and some slivers from the rind
4. Add remaining ingredients
5. Cover & microwave on high for 8 minutes

Chill before serving

Serving Size: 6 3/4 C servings
