Pasta Sauce w/Turkey

Introduction

Ingredients

    *Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 20 oz (remove)
    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 12 tomato (remove)
    Tomato Sauce, 1.75 cup (remove)
    Tomato Paste, 1 can (6 oz) (remove)
    Peppers, sweet, red, raw, sliced, 2 cup (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1.5 cup, chopped (remove)
    *brocoli stocks, 1.5 cup (remove)
    Garlic, 5 cloves (remove)
    Mushrooms, fresh, 3 cup, pieces or slices (remove)
    Olive Oil, 1.5 tbsp (remove)

Directions

Blanche and peel tomatoes, and then dice. Simmer tomatoes, tomatoe sauce and tomatoe paste for about 60 min. Brown Turkey in olive oil, add chopped peppers, brocoli and onions. Add minched garlic. Simmer just until veggies are tender crisp. Add to tomatoe sauce, simmer and additional 60 min. Add seasoning to taste. Add mushrooms the last 10 minutes of simmer time. I like my sauce better the next day. Enjoy
