Introductionhere's my family recipe that has been turned into a less sugar, lower fat recipe here's my family recipe that has been turned into a less sugar, lower fat recipe
1/4 cup canola oil
1/2 cup 2% milk
1 1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup splenda
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 recipe topping
2 tbsp splenda brown sugar
1 tbsp smart balance butter spread
1 tbsp wheat flour
1 tsp cinnamon
25 min at 375
mix all ingredients together except for the recipe topping.
melt butter then mix recipe topping in separate bowl.
spray pan with pam then pour half the batter into pan. sprinkle batter with 1/2 recipe topping. Spread remaining batter then top with recipe topping again.
You can double the recipe to bake in a 13x9 pan. I do this often.
bake 25 min or until top is light brown and center is cooked.
