1 pound angus beef, ground
1 large can crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
1 package frozen spinach, defrosted and drained (10 0z)
1 box Barilla Farfalle (1 lb)
1 medium onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
fresh basil and thyme, to taste
Add onion and garlic to beef, saute for a few minutes until onions soften.
Add tomatoes and spinach and simmer.
While beef mixture simmers, boil farfalle according to directions on box. Once cooked, add beef mixture and fresh herbs. Mix well.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese if desired (not included in calorie count).
