1.79 lb beef round steak trimmed and cut into strips
1/2 tsp Tastefully Simple Everyday Grillin seasoning
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 medium onion thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic minced
3/4 cup red wine
3/4 cup reduced sodium 99% fat free beef broth (Kroger)
3/4 cup water
1 can Healthy Request cream of mushroom soup (Campbell)
1 Tbsp dijon mustard
10 oz baby portobella mushrooms, sliced
3/4 cup reduced fat sour cream (Kroger)
Add onion and garlic to same skillet and saute for 2 - 3 minutes. Add red wine and scrape up brown bits. Add broth and water and return meat to skillet with onions and garlic. (add additional water to cover meat if necessary)Cover and allow to simmer on medium low for 2 - 3 hours until meat is tender.
Uncover and gently stir in the soup and dijon mustard, add the sliced mushrooms and bring back to a gentle simmer.
Allow to simmer an additional 10 - 15 minutes uncovered. Add the sour cream and heat through.
Serve over noodles or rice.
