Honey 100% Whole Wheat Bread

Ingredients

8-8.5 c. white whole wheat flour
0.5 c. wheat bran
0.5 c. nonfat dry milk
2.5 t. salt
2 pkg. dry yeast
3 c. water
0.5 c. honey
2 T. canola oil
Directions
In mixer bowl, combine 2.5 c. flour, bran, dry milk, salt, yeast. Set aside.
Heat water, honey, and oil in saucepan until warm (not hot). Pour over flour mixture. Beat with electric mixer 3 minutes.
Stir in all but 0.5 c. of the remaining flour. Knead 5-8 minutes, using reserved flour as needed. Place in a greased bowl, turn, let rise until doubled (about an hour). Punch down and divide in half. Shape into loaves and place in greased 9x5 bread pans. Cover and let rise 45 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees F for 40-45 minutes.
Each loaf serves 16 if you cut relatively thin slices.
